VACANCY : CONTROLLING EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities :

• Ensure financial results are according to Budget/Forecast and deviations explained

• Track all key financial risks and opportunities within the area of responsibilities

• Update Director of Finance and heads of areas of all key financial issues

• Complete accurate monthly trading and overhead results

• Provide Contribution margin analysis

• Export project / export tax/duty calculations

• Develop strategies to increase local content

• Monitor and adjust Service level agreements

• Analyse effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives (sales and aftersales)

• Participate in bonus forecast and calculation

• Challenge and work with all areas on business proposals to ensure that these are financially viable

• Ensure that the accounts are correct and no significant audit issues are raised

• Joint responsibility with the Management team for achieving the agreed annual trading results

• Implementation of sound financial and operational controls

• Ensure the company assets are safeguarded

• Contribute all necessary financial input to the as part of the management team

• Constructively challenge and participate in finance and interdepartmental meetings

• Ensure that the commercial decisions are financially viable and are accounted for correctly

• First point of contact and reference for all compliance related issues

Requirements :

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Accounting or Controlling

• Ability to operate at a senior level, with credibility and gravitas

• Work experience in Service or Manufacturing

• Strong Command of MS Excel and other Applications.

• Strong command of both spoken and written English.

• Strong leadership ability with active participation.

• Good sense of business acumen, creative independent, versatile and ability to multi-task in challenging and demanding environment.

• Self motivated with drive and tenacity

• Team player with leadership potential.
