VACANCY : SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST – GENERAL ACCOUNTING

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and manage monthly trial balance package for assigned affiliates

• Accounting Quality Reviews (e.g. sample audits)

• Prepare/Review Account Reconciliations

• Manual Journal Voucher Processing & Review

• Troubleshooting for:

- Third party outsourced processes and controls

- SAP general accounting processes

- Research and resolve reconciliation issues

- Research and resolve intercompany imbalances

• Special project work as it is identified

Requirements :

• Accounting Degree

• Qualified Chartered / Public Accountant, preferably with Big 4 public accounting experience

• 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a multinational, ideally in a shared service environment

• In depth knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

• Experience in and deep understanding of judgmental accounting transactions such as deferrals, revaluations, tax, etc.

• The ability to apply this knowledge in the preparation and/or review of judgmental accounting journal entries, monthly closings, account reconciliation analysis, intercompany and other required activities

• General business / functional knowledge

• Experience with SAP is a distinct advantage

- AP detailed transactional flows as required for the job

- SAP financial and master data flows

- Understanding of integration points with sub-ledgers and other data flows

• Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.)

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong research and issues resolution skills, ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts

• Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and prioritize responsibilities

• Ability to develop good relationships with various levels of personnel

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Independent forward thinker on process improvement.

• Process improvement and/or Six Sigma experience would be an advantage

• Asian language skills would be an advantage
