Responsibilities:
• To develop, coordinate, maintain and enforce a client approved Risk Management program for the Group and its projects
• To ensure project risk management practices, processes and reporting complies with and meets the needs of both the project and the client
• To organise and conduct all client Risk Management meetings and provides input to the project plan, project schedule and/or project work plan
• To develop, coordinate and establish Group and project risk management programs
• To train project technical staff on requirements and assists project staff in successfully achieving requirements for risk management and mitigation
• To manage, participate and oversees all risk management activities, functions and reporting
• To develop strategies for changing market conditions
• Managing the process of analysing upside and downside risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the quantitative and qualitative risks affecting the business
• Ongoing identifies potential risks to achieve project objectives and elevates to management when necessary
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 year(s) practical experience with information technology infrastructure operations and/or service management
• Practical experience of process management and continuos improvement methods and techniques
• Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization, which includes senior management and operations personnel
• A good understanding of statistical and analytical principles and processes
• A demonstrated understanding of cost management principles
• Exposure to the engineering, oil and gas activities preferred
