Responsibilities:
• Ensure all the submitted reconciliations/schedules by the Regional Finance / Country Finance Controllers are timely and include adequate, clear explanations for the reconciling items and appropriate substantiating documents.
• Ensure GL data migration is performed properly and efficiently in a timely manner.
• Ensure issues are escalated to Corporate Finance, Regional Finance and Country Finance Controllers and resolved in a timely manner.
• To ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of reconciliation schedules submitted by Regional Finance
• To follow up with Regional Finance for closure of outstanding items and provide periodic update on reconciliation status to Singapore Corporate Finance
• To monitor and guide the analysts in the GL data migration tools testing, and loading and validation of GL balances for data migration.
• To perform data cleansing in preparation for GL data migration.
• To participate in user acceptance testing.
• To escalate issues to Singapore Corporate Finance and Regional Finance in a timely manner
• Any other tasks to be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• 1 - 3 years of accounting experience.
• Must have sound accounting knowledge.
• She/she must be proficient in English.
• Computer literate, conversant with Microsoft Office, strong book keeping knowledge and substantial skill on coordination.
