Responsibilities:
Order Release & Picking
• To plan resources in anticipation of volumes to achieve optimum productivity and performance.
• To ensure pickers are properly trained and perform tasks in accordance to SOP.
• To continually review procedures, systems and equipment to identify opportunities for further improvement.
• To ensure proper prioritization of orders to meet customer requirements.
Replenishment
• To ensure replenishment activity is well planned and supports the picking operations.
• To ensure that pick locations are well maintained and stocks are properly labeled.
Quality Control – Check
• Ensure that the checkers know the criteria for checking picked orders.
• Monitoring the performance of checkers in accuracy and speed.
• Monitoring the flow of the checking to avoid bottleneck.
• To analyze direct reject or return stocks from trade to identify root cause.
• Ensure proper filing of Warehouse Invoice copy for record purpose.
Packing
• To ensure the packing operational flow is efficient and does not create a bottleneck.
• To ensure packing and labeling is accurate.
• To ensure packing quality is suitable for each product to avoid damage.
Staff Development
• To provide continuous on-the-job training, coaching and counseling for skills and competency development of all sub-ordinates and to recommend external training as and when appropriate.
Communication
• To ensure there is prompt and effective communication both internally and externally to keep all interested parties informed proactively. This includes but is not limited to, superiors, sub-ordinates, colleagues, principals and customers.
ISO
• To resume the role and responsibilities of ‘Committee Member’ in the ISO Committee.
• To ensure all operational processes adhere to the SOP's and to provide necessary training and coaching where required.
• To ensure SOP's are maintained up to date and that any changes necessary are done through the QMR.
• To continually review procedures, processes and training to achieve optimum quality and efficiency.
Requirements :
• Minimum diploma/ degree holder in Business Admin/ Management/ Operations or related field
• 2-5 years working experience in operations
• Mature, independent and self driven
