Responsibilities :
• Responsible for sound management of overall salon operations and staff
• Assist in co-ordination of salon operations with all departments of head office
• Oversee the daily operations and staff at salon
• Revenue focus - know and communicate to staff daily and projected revenue targets for treatments and retail, create revenue generating culture
• Monitor and maintain standards to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain up to date knowledge of and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Responsible for performance culture of the company
• Model appropriate attitudes and behaviour for Asst Managers & staff. Give frequent feedback on performance; coaching and counselling as required
• Undertake performance evaluations of staff where applicable
• Monitor and manage inventory of spa supplies including linen, product, retail, equipment to minimise loss, wastage.
• Attend morning briefings and communicate relevant issues to staff and Head Office as needed
• Understand all fire, safety, emergency and evacuation procedures and ensure staff do too.
• Compile and submit reports as required in a timely manner, e.g. revenue, personnel, inventories, salon operations, customer complaints/comments, incidents, sales and marketing reports.
Requirements :
• Completed High School Diploma / Degree in related industry, CIDESCO/CIBTAC/MLVK (Optional)
• Sound written & spoken English. Other languages will be an advantage
• Possess leadership skill including planning, decision-making, motivation of staff, team and relationship building
• Management skills including organisation of staff and resources
• Presents as confident and pleasant in dealings with people
• Highly motivated & eager to learn
• Computer skills desirable
• Well groomed
