Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Main tasks is to support the data centre/server
• Assemble server
• Assemble intel,asus,dell and gigabytes motherboard
• Installation Linux Server (Centos Fedora Core, Debian, FreeBSD, Ubuntu)
• Installation Windows Server (Windows2003,Windows 2008 XP,2000,2008,win7)
• Install Control Panel for customer (Cpanel, Plesk, Helm and DirectAdmin)
• Installation Linux server with setting Raid 1, Raid 5, or Raid 10 and Backup services
• Installation Windows Server with setting Raid 1 Raid 5, Raid 10 and Backup services
• Delivery server to data center and send activation form to customer.
• Check ticketing system and reply customer.
• Setup VPN
• Create and Setup VPS
• Create MRTG graph
• Arrange task for colleague setup server.
• Setup route
• Clear virus for PC
• Create e-mail user on mail server
• Set folder permission for user

Requirements:

• Technically sound especially in the area of IT infrastructure hardware troubleshooting
• Must have transport, preferable with car. Exceptions will be given to those with motorbikes if they are good technically
• Working hours are generally from 9am-6pm.
• Off days are 1 day on weekday & 1 day on weekend ( to choose between Sat or Sun)
• Staff required to be on standby to monitor system after 6pm occasionally. This can be done from anywhere including home
• Work location is in Kuchai Lama
• Preferably male candidates
• Salary package is negotiable
