Responsibilities:
• Provide effective and efficient support to the BPO Head to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• Provide expert advice to the Finance Business Partner on transitioning of new tasks and thereafter, process improvement.
• Drive the SLA Review sessions with Finance Business Partner.
• Document Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Guide and train processing and accounts staff to ensure knowledge transfer for smooth transitioning.
• To liaise with external IT vendors, Finance Business Partners and Consultants.
• To support BPO Head to evaluate and work with Finance Business Partners to evaluate and identify potential finance processes in order to achieve cost reductions and synergy.
• Understanding the different processes used throughout finance operations locations in Asia Pacific.
• Identifying/ leveraging best practices already in use in the finance operations community.
• Designing practical and effective solutions to address improvement opportunities – both cost and performance.
• Successfully implement improvement initiatives with Finance Business Partners.
• Strive as a SME on process improvements/ standardization methodology.
• Provide consultative services to both external Finance Business Partners and internal support staff.
• Ability to relate to cross-cultural processes and country sensitivities.
• Responsible for process documentations (i.e. process maps).
Requirements:
• Degree holder and /or qualified accountant (preferable).
• 3-5 years of working experience of which the last 2 years to focus on business process outsourcing/improvement and shared services.
• Ability to communicate / work effectively with people at all levels and with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communication skills (English), spoken and written.
• Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
• Experience in supporting a shared service centre (preferred).
• Experience in logistic industry (preferred).
• Process oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Good presentation skills.
• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia or other local dialects. Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean or Japanese language will be an advantage.
