Studies: We’re feeling lonelier and more disconnected than the generation before us. Here two tips to help you connect more:
1) Don’t take photos, just look.
Taking a photo seems like a good idea to
preserve a memory. First of all, news photographer will tell you that they
often feel distance from the events they document as they are looking through a
lens.
In conclusion, putting a camera between you
and the event or subject will distance you from it. To truly connect, put away
the camera and enjoy yourself.
2) Meet friends in person instead of on Facebook.
No matter how much fun it is to post
statuses and chat online, there is something about human contact that just
can’t be replaced.
Take a break from your phone and computer,
switch it all off, put it away and go meet a friend for a nice, long chat over
a cup of coffee.
