VACANCY : CORPORATE FINANCE MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Plan, structure and execute corporate finance activities covering IPO, RTO, mergers and acquisitions(M&A), valuations, corporate restructuring, reorganization and equity& debt market fund raising exercises for companies and projects within the Group.
• Carry out due diligence exercises in respect of M&A activities, corporate exercises etc
• Corporate financial strategy and planning, including management and development of policies, systems, process and procedures
• Carry out review of the financial performance of investee companies including compliance with the corporate and regulatory requirements for budgeting, risk management, internal audit, accounting, taxation, cost management, investor relations etc
• Carry out financial modelling, developing and presenting appropriate financial solutions to management
• Liaise with Bursa Securities, Securities Commission & other regulatory authorities
• Prepare presentation for analyst briefing
• Regulatory compliances with the relevant authorities.

Requirements:

• Ideal candidates will be senior finance professionals with at least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial advisory, investment/merchant banking
• A graduate degree, MBA, ACCA, CPA or CA qualification will be required
• Well verse with Bursa Securities, Securities Commission & BNM’s rules & regulations, CMSA, takeover code
• Exposure to the shipping, engineering, oil and gas activities/sectors will have an added advantage
• Prior experience in audit and/or consultancy will be preferred
• Possess analytical skills, problem solving abilities and a “can do” attitude
• Ability to work under pressure
• Exposure to M&A and related activities including structuring, due diligence, valuations, negotiations and legal documentation etc
• Strong leadership and communications skills; ability to work in multicultural teams; and an entrepreneurial flair would be crucial for success in this role
• Competent in Microsoft application (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
