VACANCY : IT EXECUTIVE (WEB APPLICATION FOR CORPORATE WEBSITE & INTRANET)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the company’s in house web application developments and enhancements to meet the rapid growth of business and users’ needs.

• Responsible for the user requirement study, design, program coding, integration, system testing and coordinate users acceptance testing.

• Responsible for the web application technical, system and user manual documentation.

• Integration with the company’s other applications.

• Responsible for supporting and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the web application

• Conduct user training.

• Assists in performance monitoring, database optimization and capacity planning.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess minimum a Diploma, or degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years working experience with .net web application development and database design

• Working Knowledge of Window/Window Server (2000/2003/XP/Vista/Window 7)

• Working Knowledge of DB2, MS SQL Server (2003/2005/2008), MS Access, MySQL databases

• Working knowledge of ASP.net, VB.net, C# , MS Visual Studio (2003-2008), HTML, XML, Active Directory, Stored Procedures, DTS, SSIS and DotNetNuke 3.0/4.0 Content Management

• Good knowledge of MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Visio & Outlook (2003/2007/2010)

• Good knowledge of other software tools such as Photoshop, Adobe, Crystal Report

• Familiar with system development life cycle

• Knowledge of General Insurance is an advantage

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communications skills (English)

• Have good interpersonal skills

• A team player, able to work under pressure & meet deadlines
