Credit Control & Collection Manager

Responsibilities :

• Manage the collection team & collection process to achieve DSO, ageing & bad debt targets for customers of Asia Pacific as stated by business partners of countries being served.
• This role is required to liaise with business partner in country in particular with Customer Accounting team as well as commercial team to drive the performance
• Provide a ‘Best In Class’ receivables management service via customer relation enhancement, creative solutions, problem-solving techniques, etc for customer in Asia Pacific countries
• Provide a ‘Best In Class’ receivables management service of National Sales Group (NSG) to Business Partners in different Asian Pacific country offices
• Act as the expert in the subject matter to provide advice in collection strategy & services of NSG.

Requirements :

• Degree in Business/related discipline (preferable).
• Preferably with professional membership in credit industry (eg. Member of Institute of Credit Management (UK), National Association of Credit Management (USA), Credit Institute of Canada, HK Credit & Collection Management Association, etc)
• 8 years relevant experience in Express or Logistics industry (preferable).
• 5 years experience in a management/supervisory position.
• Credit analysis and debt collection skills.
• Awareness of legal process and creditor’s rights
• Financial accounting knowledge
• Computer software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Communication skills (English, preferably Cantonese & Mandarin), spoken and written.
