Sr Analyst, Program Management Office

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective and efficient support to the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• Provide expert advice to the Finance Business Partner on transitioning of new tasks and thereafter, process improvement
• Document Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Guide and train processing and accounts staff to ensure knowledge transfer for smooth transitioning
• To liaise with external IT vendors, Finance Business Partners and Consultants
• To support Manager to evaluate, identify and transfer finance processes to achieve cost reductions and synergy.
• Understanding the different processes used throughout finance operations locations in Asia Pacific.
• Identifying/ leveraging best practices already in use in the finance operations community.
• Designing practical and effective solutions to address improvement opportunities – both cost and performance.
• Provide consultative services to both external Finance Business Partners and internal support staff
• Responsible for process documentations (i.e. process maps)
• Change request handling
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Be able to influence decisions / actions through provision of value added inputs into the organization’s business processes.
• Drive internal project within the company
• Career/Role development (Expected next role) – Project Manager

Requirements :

• Degree holder and /or qualified accountant (preferable)
• 3-5 years of working experience of which the last 2 years to focus on business process outsourcing/improvement and shared services.
• Ability to communicate / work effectively with people at all levels and with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communication skills (English), spoken and written
• Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Experience in supporting a shared service centre (preferred)
• Experience in logistic industry (preferred)
• Process oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Good presentation skills.
• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia or other local dialects. Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean or Japanese language will be an advantage
• Ability to relate to cross-cultural processes and country sensitivities.
